Start your day with this easy, delicious, nutritious and weight-friendly smoothie!
What you need:
2/3 cup skim milk
1/2 cup low-fat strawberry yogurt
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 banana
1/2 cup whole-wheat cereal
1/2 cup almonds
honey to sweeten (optional)
What to do:
In a blender, place skim milk, yogurt, strawberries, almonds and banana until smooth.
Add cereal and blend for few seconds.
Sweetened with honey if desired.
Pour in a glass garnish with your favorite cereal or fruits, or both. Another option, pour into a small bowl mix smoothie with your favorite cereal and fruits.
Makes 2 servings. Prep. Time: 5 minutes.
