The cornbread is a mixture of cornmeal and water cooked on top of a skillet in cooking oil. This cornbread is mixed with water to make a batter then placed on the skillet. The sizes of the cornbread range from two to five inches.
You can also customize your own cornbread with your own seasonings. This is usually eaten with collard greens, mustard greens, and spinach.
This is cooked on the holidays when people cook or make there soul food items. The bread is a fast cooked bread.
