4 thin boerewors sausages
1 tin (410 g) Rhodes braai relish
butter
8 slices of bread
1 -2 cups grated mozzarella
1/2 onion, sliced into rings
• Braai the boerewors and heat the tomato relish in a potjie.
• To make a sandwich, butter the bread on one side only and turn the slices buttered side down.
• Divide the cheese and onion rings between 4 slices. Put the other slice on top with the buttered side facing out Braai over medium-hot coals until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
• Open up your braaibroodjie and add 1 -2 tablespoons of the warm relish and a few pieces of boerie. Serve immediately.
