The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Eaten

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Eaten

I've never made a good meatloaf and avoided them like the plague. I haven't made one in years because of that very reason....well that's until I made this one. This is a delicious meatloaf recipe. I'm glad I faced my fear!!! I hope you enjoy it as well. The recipe is below.

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tblsp. minced garlic
2 beaten eggs
1 cup bread crumbs (I used canned but back in the '70's, I'm sure white bread was used....your choice)
2 tblsp bacon grease
a few shakes of tabasco sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 350 (I used 375)
Mix all ingredients together until very well combined
Bake 45 min to 1 hr. or until the internal temp. reaches from 155 to 165
Topping:
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tblsp Molasses
1 tblsp bacon grease
Spread on top of the meatloaf before you bake it
